Finally. We made it. I think every year I say this is the most excited I have ever been for football to be back, but this year I mean it. Its going to be a huge year for the Ole Kohl-Star. And I understand this isnt the most electric state of games but there are still some fun teams playing and lets not forget the most important part and that is that these games actually count.

This week is kind of a weird appetizer slate. Not exactly steak and potatoes, but hey, chips and salsa still hit before the fajitas show up.

Farmageddon in Dublin Ireland is going to start us off this season, and these two teams are actually not bad. Kansas State is a sneaky playoff contender and Matt Campbell is one of the better coaches in college football. Both teams play a solid brand of football built on running the ball and playing defense so I like this matchup. With both teams style of play and being on a neutral field I think its best to take the points.

UNLV has former promising head coach Dan Mullen taking over and he brought in a hole bunch of formerly highly rated players. UNLV at home I think runs it up. Alex Orji 4+ TDs.

Kansas opens their new stadium with a banger. If there is one thing I know its that Jalon Daniels can put up points. I think the combination of that, the atmosphere, and Fresno being a capable opponent means this hits the over.
